Description
I haven't had any problems creating the relationship fields on custom settings pages but occasionally some of them are dropped from the options table days/weeks later. Its not happening to all of them and is sporadic. When it occurs the selected options for the relationship fields still show in the admin custom settings page and resaving it repopulates the database. CPT's with relationship fields stored on the meta table are not affected at all.
