"Function is_current_page was called incorrectly" after updating to 2.9.11 #6987

Description

After updating pods from 2.9.10.2 to 2.9.11, this message popped out (WP_DEBUG true in wp-config.php): "Function is_current_page was called incorrectly. Function was called before it is possible to accurately determine what the current page is. ... wp-includes/functions.php on line 5835".

Confirmed same error on my WordPress multisite. PHP 8.0, WP 6.1.1

Confirmed same error, I added a 'return false;' as workaround to make the site operative.

After updating to 2.9.11.1 the warning has gone.

Uh! Thanks for the feedback ✌ Was postponing the update - the release notes did not appear to address this issue.

Update tested here as well. No errors (debug on).
