Addendum: I am well aware that I could replace the short codes with their raw HTML equivalent as a work-around to have the icons render properly, but I'd rather use the short codes provided by the Advanced Layout Editor that is incorporated in the Enfold theme I'm using, for maintainability reasons.
NOTE: I have implemented aforementioned workaround, so my link does not show this issue at the moment.
Besides, others might not be so lucky that the only thing the short code does is render an icon.
Please ignore the SSL certificate warning in my link, this is a test environment without proper certificates in place.
Hi @baswientjes
Please validate that you've enabled the sub shortcodes constant to enable shortcodes within templates: https://docs.pods.io/displaying-pods/pods-templates/using-shortcodes-in-pods-templates/
Cheers, Jory
Description
Not sure if this bug has been re-introduced in 2.9.11.1 or before that, but eversince I updated any short codes within an IF condition in a Pods template are not parsed. If I remove the IF condition, everything works fine (apart from it rendering even if the IF condition would return FALSE).
Live example: https://cesi.netvis.nl/member-union/dbb/
There should be icons rendered in the right hand column but instead we're looking at their short codes. The two icons that do render (pin and envelope) do not have an IF condition.

Possible Workaround
Replace said short codes with their raw HTML equivalent (which luckily is possible in this case, but might not be the case on other websites).
