Cannot extend existing Posts #7057

Description

I am trying to add a taxonomy to Posts but getting an error that the post type already exists - https://share.getcloudapp.com/7Kuz68yE

I tried rebuilding all posts but that did not fix it.

Version

2.9.13

Testing Instructions

On the Pods Admin > Edit Pods there is no Post visible.

  1. Trying to add a taxonomy to an existing post type (Post) produces an error.

Your screenshot shows you are extending a post type (Post) and not creating a taxonomy. Please choose create instead of extent and select taxonomy.
