Zapper wiimote config #214

Hi Tantric,

Now that you are looking into the zapper code (issue 211), there is an
enhancements I thought about some time ago and I had forgotten to suggest
you.

There are games which do have a use for nes controller 1 while playing a
zapper game in port 2. For example, in Duck Hunt you can control the ducks
with the d-pad in controller one while player with zapper shoots them.

However, I understand your point about some users don't have 2 wiimotes at
hand so they might want to play the zapper with wiimote 1 as if it were in
port 2.

My suggestions is the following:

In the Zapper menu configuration, have the following choices:

1) Wiimote 1 in Port 1 (This is for VS games)
2) Wiimote 1 in Port 2 (For users with only 1 wiimote)
3) Wiimote 2 in Port 2 (For users with 2 wiimotes that want to use the
first wiimote as a NES controller, I'd make it the default choice as it is
closest to the real thing functionality)

I appreciate your time to read my suggestion. Best regards.

Axel

This is a great idea, the VS zapper games will be fixed again because they only
works
with the controller on port 1.

thanks.

the suggestion as always is appreciated, but this makes it too complicated and
adds
yet more options to something that I really want to be simple. @ pakitovic - VS
zapper games should work because if you check the code, it puts VS games on
port 1
and regular zapper games on port 2. this happens automatically, no user changes
are
required.
