Reset button problems/games "harware" resetting

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Load any game
2.Reset it using the button on the Wii console
3.Try to reset it again using that same button

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The reset button on the Wii seems to work only once per emulator load. 
Once it has been pressed, a game can only be reset using the emulator 
menu. IMPORTANT NOTE: The reset on the emulator seems to be a power off-
power on, instead of a software reset. For instance, in the game "Kirby´s 
Adventure", resetting the game should prompt directly to the title screen 
and not the introduction again.

Does this issue occur on FCE Ultra for Windows?

this is a problem upstream with libogc itself BUT I've fixed the problem there.

yes I decided to do power off instead since a reset doesn't, well, reset 
everything 
and sometimes you might want a full power off, and I don't want to offer both 
options.
