when the jungle part returns to the forest floor, it could be cool to integrate surf / a river into some part as well, maybe a dive hole or waterfall for the far future linking to another part of map (dark soul / metroidvania style?) (waterfall actually seems like the coolest idea here, would make sense and could be a cool clearing area)
