StataRun doesn't work can't execute with Stata17-BE #14

I am new to visual studio and want to use this since I find that stata do-editor lack functionality. But, StataRun won't execute code. I just upgraded to Stata 17 BE.

Can someone help figuring out what the issue is? shouldn't it just worked when installed from VS?

It doesn't work for Stata-17MP in macOS Big Sur 11.5.2. I think this extension requires an update...
