Cannot recover brain wallet created in June 2016, incorrect pub/priv key pair shown by bitaddress

I'm VERY sure about the brain wallet passphrase being correct.

I hear there is something, if the key was created in Safari, then it might ONLY be able to be re-created in Safari.

Can anyone show some details about the versions and how to potentially go back and run old versions of Safari to recover it?

Hey were you able to fix this am having same problem here

There's no issue with Safari and brain wallets. The safari issue only affected BIP38.
