Paper Wallets Page Options #75

If I check HideArt, Addresses to generate: 1 BIP38 Encrypt? check Passphrase: 123 Addresses per page: 7

I would expect to get 1 encrypted wallet copied 7 times e.g. seven identical wallets all encrypted with the same passphrase (in this example 123). As it is I only get one copy of the wallet.

This would be ideal, because I have seven copies of this wallet to keep in different locations. When I spend anything from this wallet I move all the change to a new paper wallet using a new passphrase for maximum security. Trying to always use a new encrypted paper wallet with a new passphrase and making multiple copies is quite cumbersome without my suggested option.

Thanks Roger

You can select to print 7 pages in your printer options... "Addresses per page" means how many unique address on a page before starting the next page. People may want to print in landscape or portrait and adjust this value.

Thanks for your reply but I don't want 7 pieces of paper each with just one copy of the same wallet. I want 7 identical wallets on just one piece of paper. As it is I can have 7 different wallets on one piece of paper but I must use 7 pieces of paper if I want all copies of the same wallet. The existing input fields seem to suggest I can do this but although I ask for 7 copies of 1 wallet, it only prints 1 copy on the page.

I love your wallet App and use it frequently.

I was confused by this. I actually generated 3 paper wallets assuming that I could use 2 of them as backups for the first one. It was of course stupid of me not to check that all were identical but as I was confused, others may be too.

Just something to consider.
