Windows with an axis that is not resizable can sometimes "crush" parts of the UI out of existence, and the user can not get them back because its not resizable (reported for PyTILE and PySPK). Should investigate:
Is it only related to non-resizing windows with changing/resizing views (Minitiles editor in PyTILE for example)?
Somehow make sure views have minimum sizes so nothing can be crushed?
