Pressing space after hiding the message box via the gui button won't show it again #9

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Hide the message box with the designated GUI button
2. Press space to show it again

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The message box should appear again, but it only flashes briefly before hiding 
itself again.

This is caused by both the hiding code and the button's onclick event occurring 
in this scenario.
