Creating a single global toggle for all messages is probably somewhat easy but I have a feeling it's not actually what people would want. We have at least these different classes of messages and message updates:
- private messages directly to users
- webhook autoshare
- manual inline sharing
- share via bot
- trainer messages
- initial overview messages
- overview updates
- poll refresh updates
As I proposed in telegram it would be very beneficial for some raid groups to be able to configure silent messages for the bot especially with the use of automatic raid posting through webhook.
