Got another request in this vein in the inbox:
The client complained of duplicate mappings to fill out when there are duplicate survey answers in the script.
These duplicate survey answers in different parent/child locations in the script are pretty normal for good text scripts, and the average integration user has to map each of them, which can become tiresome.
This client wished that he could just fill out 1 mapping for each unique script survey answer, or that VAN mapping settings would be carried over using copy block in a script editor, which is a slightly different workflow than we were expecting.
He also suggested for advanced users a way to upload mappings via excel, which may be difficult to implement. I think the feeling behind this request is: 1 unique mapping should live in 1 place. Filling out duplicates feels bad.
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
All question response values must have a configured VAN sync mapping before the campaign can be synced to VAN. This is great from a data-integrity point of view, but a pain if the user does actually want to skip syncing a large number of question response values (e.g. a livestream invite that appears as a child after several mapped survey responses within a script): they must go one by one to create empty mappings for all of these question response values.
