Misleading colors and text in the confirmation or rejection buttons for exam grades #447

Problem I think that the colors of the exam mark acceptance or rejection buttons are misleading and unclear, being a key (and irreversible) action I think they should be clearer.

This is the current design: old_design This is the design I had in mind, and that is much clearer: new_design

Another problem: Both by choosing accept and reject the exact same confirmation text appears, it should be different from case to case and clearly indicate the action being performed. photo_2024-02-19 17 19 51

Are you willing to contribute to this issue? Yes! I am a Software Engineer, I could do that in a couple of weeks after the exam session.

Any news about this issue? I think it is pretty important. But labels and assignees are missing. So I would like to know if somebody is taking into account this issue. Is the #446 the solution of this issue?

Unfortunately no, I'm waiting for an answer from the admins...

In response to @barbax7 , we are working on this and conducting the appropriate research to find the best solution, with the intention of releasing an update by the next exam session. In response to @Paolo-Beci , thank you for the suggestion. Your proposal is very similar to one of the alternatives we have already evaluated. However, there is a small hierarchy error in your proposal where the CTA button is placed above a secondary button. It would be sufficient to reverse the order to make it more hierarchically consistent. However, since the user's choice of which option to select is subjective, before releasing an update, we intend to conduct a brief usability research to find a solution that is as user-centered as possible.

Thanks for your reply. I just wanted to put this issue back in your notifications since there was no response, and among the students I noticed it was a common question of interest. @gpiazza-polito
