Regarding the newer Fightcade future updates & the current Closed Beta...Game Support

Don't know if the proper forum to ask such questions...but I figured I should give it a shot and ask here, instead of social media.

I noticed that Sega Genesis & among other kinds of games are strongly being hinted at and being added to the romset of supported games for future updates.

What's the take & approach being taken towards rom hacks of popular games?

I'm strongly interested in seeing a very popular rom hack such as Ultimate Mortal Kombat Trilogy being supported in the next big update that will be bringing official support to many Sega Genesis games with full on netplay support.

I think this would a wonderful addition to the full romset of supported games for the next big update that will be bringing more games, especially fighting games like the original UMK3.
