Why is this not a promotion rather than retention? The scope, involvement and impact of your work on the Polkadot & Kusama runtimes/chains/ecosystems are definitely supportive of rank 3 IMO.

There is also no artificial blocker for it. https://collectives.subsquare.io/fellowship/core shows you are eligible for promotion from the artificial "min promotion period" point of view.
