Hi @mynameisvinn and thanks for your contribution.

There is many things in your PR and I'm not sure I want all of them.

• The unit test run by travis is great and I would gladly integrate that part.
• You also made quite a lot of changes in the API and I find your version less pythonic. I'm not sure I see how it improves the module.
• Finally there is some binary files that you must have been committed inadvertently.

If you could split your PR especially the part with the unit test that would be great!
