That is a good request. Let me think if we should do it by default or only in some scenarios (probably configurable).
What size do you need for the final export? Or you using much bigger resolution?
I think there’s a difference if your design is intended for screen/web or for printing. In case of printing it’s important to have the source images in original resolution for rendering the master png/pdf to be sent to production. Even better to have a warning e.g. ⚠️ this image is below required 360 dpi
When the design is made for printing, it's important tha the images have maximum resolution. At the moment the images from unsplash are artificially limited to 1080 pixels. Would be nice to add a config parameter to prevent limiting of image sizes and keep the original size. Especially for the rendering of the final png/pdf.
