This chipset is used on some 486 SBCs. Not sure if anyone is working on or has considered working on a PC/104 version of the PicoGUS, but this info could be useful if so.

Fully compatible with everything i tried from the compatible software list (1 demo in GUS mode, 2 games in GUS mode, 1 game in adlib mode, 2 games in CMS mode). Don't have any MIDI devices to test. Only issue to report is notes will hang upon reboot (GUS, adlib, and CMS mode). Did not have this issue on 430VX chipset MB.

Let me know if you want me to test anything specific on this chipset.

Is the SBC in question a Teknor? if so, which model? I have a VIPer809 and this interests me to know that this works. Would definitely save up a slot, especially considering I could get a bracket printed to extend the outputs to where an empty parallel header lies in my PS/2 mouse bracket... as the 809 already has one onboard.

I'm also interested to know what the PicoGUS does at various FSB speeds. on the Teknor boards with such, the headers are different W# designations yet the pinouts are all the same according to TRW. undocumented header configs are 1-2&3-4 populated for a 20MHz bus, and no jumpers on any of the pins for 40MHz. 1-2 is 33MHz and 3-4 is 25MHz.
