Extend the test suite #42

Closes #20, closes #24 and contributes to #19.

Added a unit test for MI estimation of gamma-exponential distribution
Added a unit test for multidimensional cond parameter in estimate_mi
Implemented an integration test leg for CI, run with minimum requirements
Added an integration test for realistic data analysis, based on the case study in docs
