Glitch-soc has a feature to show when a link destination is different from its display text in toots with markdown.
This feature could be expanded or replicated to also warn for tracking parts in URLs like ?si= in Youtube links or outright remove them.
Removing is a bit more risky though.
Also this requires to keep a list of known tracking parts in URLs and these can vary wildly and might cause a false sense of security when a tracking bit isn't caught yet.
