Fix new boosts or replies from being inserted into timelines when settings disabled

I'm actually reaching the point where I might just remove the toggles because it's not worth it. I don't even know anyone who has enabled the settings nor any reason to do that.

Yeah, trying to get this to work is a huge waste of effort and time considering the current fix only requires changes in a single file.
