Read loop region info from wav-files #1457

Wav files can hold loop region data. Finding nice loop-regions can be a pain There are lots of nice tools for helping find and tune loop regions on Windows/Mac/Linux etc Many of us already have a bunch of samples with loop region data stored in the file

It would be nice if the tracker could read loop region info from wave files and use this to set loop start/end defaults.

I'm not sure if there are multiple standards for defining regions in wav files, but even if so, there's surely scope to pick a standard and go with it - it would be easy enough for us to then convert to this format if we're not already using it.

I think I asked for this a long time ago, if not.... I second this... and a lot of the time it's just easier to set the loop in an audio editor. I forget if the tracker can do crossfades or not, I've been really busy for a few months and haven't had time to even update the firmware yet, which I"ll be doing tomorrow I finally got time to work on audio projects. I'm going to be making some instruments for the tracker to share with the community. Anyway, if crossfades aren't in the tracker that would be a nice feature.
