The Polyend tracker has so many lovely buttons and a great encoder that would work great when working with a DAW as well. I searched for this option in settings and in the issues, but I could not find it.
Could you please add a "Polytracker as MIDI controller" option in the "Config" page, that when selected:
shows on the screen that the user is in controller mode, and that pressing "Config" will exit
any button on the Polytracker (including all black buttons) except for "Config" pressed sends a CC code for the button over midi when pressed
rotating the encoder sends a CC code over midi with the current value
incoming midi control messages allow for the tuning on and off of the button LED's.
pressing "Config" exits and returns to the config page
This will enable usage of the Polytracker not just standalone or as a sequencer, but also makes it a great option as a controller, a bit like Ableton live for example. The user can midi learn their daw to assign buttons to drum pads and features, connect the encoder to a filter cutoff, etc etc.
If this feature is available, I plan to write a plugin for Bitwig so I can use the tracker to control Bitwig.

Thank you very much for considering!
