insert (single column, wrap/nudge)

insert button effects only the columns that are selected, leaving the other columns fixed

also insert button "wrap/nudge" , where anything at the bottom of the column gets wrapped to the top, effectively nudging the pattern (if you want)

You can mark all the tracks and use Insert for that exact effect.
