Figured I’d try and make a thread that concentrates on niggling things within Performance FX.
Sample End - Any chance that this could be a set lengths for all samples on all tracks? Currently I’m guessing it uses % and it, which works on similar length samples but fails on a mixture or long chords and short drum samples. If it was unified to set times in ms then it would create better gated rhythms. Also some for of decay / release needs to be applied to stop the ugly clicking.
Pan - Could this be made to transition from one setting to the other instead of just jumping. I don’t want rid of jumping but a sweep would be nice, or just a softening / easing option.
Pitch - same as Pan
Step Repeater - Could this be unquantised and more real time in that pressing a pad starts the effect from that moment. For example if Step Repeat is set to 6, It doesn’t repeat immediately but plays 6 steps then loops back to the precise point you pressed the pad. The loop is in time because the Step Repeat is repeating 6 step regardless of when the pad was pressed, 6 steps is 6 steps after all.
I also think an option for this to be mono would be very helpful and help prevent some of those loud volume spikes.
Pattern Length - Could this work in real time too from the moment you press the pad?

Anyway just a few ideas to begin with.
