R799, Britten https://polyrhythm.humdrum.org/example/?id=799 No symbol in Sibelius for trill to flattened note, have added manually but concerned about able to translate to kern

example T332, Bartok, the score asks for tr#, trb and tr natural. I have created new symbols and added them to the Symbols Dialogue Box of Sibelius. I was unable though to add a wavy line to the new symbols. I created a wavy line, added it to the Lines Dialogue Box of Sibelius and manually applied it to each newly created symbol. Since it is unsure VHV will read the new symbols plus the manually added wavy line, the final file only has the default trill symbol that comes with the wavy line. Screenshots below of the 2 versions.

This can be fixed in Humdrum; @cdf75ubc notate SIB for visual rendering using the single created symbols. Log entry in corresponding column in FDS_Proofreading_Transcription_Errors_Master in Google Drive folder.

It will be useful to have them visible in Sibelius for later proofreading with the PDFs regardless of if they export.

It would be interesting to export the MusicXML file from Sibelius, and then import it back into Sibelius. If the chromatic trill loads correctly from the MusicXML file, then it can be made to correctly translate into Humdrum as well. If it does not re-import, then the trill information gets lost when exporting to MusicXML (so it cannot be transferred to Humdrum).

For now, R332, Bartok, SIB file has all trills plus accidentals symbols, but do not contain wavy lines. These symbols are combined so that they are only one symbol. There is also the option to have these symbols "plus wavy lines", or to keep these symbols and to add wavy lines manually to each one of them, thus equal to Bartok's original. Screenshot is not very clear because my monitor where I am has no high resolution.

This is importing the XML file from source folder and opening in Sibelius.

1st screenshot is for when symbol has trills plus accidentals in same symbol, no wavy line: result is tr symbol only (no accidentals).

2nd screenshot is for when the file has trills plus accidentals plus wavy lines in a single symbol: result is that it is not converted.

3rd screenshot is for when default tr symbol is applied to tone and accidental is manually added on top of trill. In this case, the accidental is found in Sibelius, still it is not converted. (I applied them only to violin 2 bar 1).

example Britten R799 has been added symbol "tr + accidental + wavy line" to correspond to original score. Please see screenshots below. Obs.: at the moment, example Bartok R332 has "tr + accidental" symbol, original score has "tr + accidental + wavy line".
