Same in this example, except more of an issue because it confuses with another voice
560 - R560_Mai-w29p25m10-14
For example 537, the conversion could be fixed to moved the dynamic above the staff; however, this would be incorrect. When there are lyrics for a vocal part, the dynamics should be placed above the staff. If there were no lyrics (as in this case), the dynamics should be placed below the staff.
For R560 (piano staff) the dynamics do need to be fixed to place the dynamics below the bass staff.
This sort of issue was posted elsewhere, but maybe filed under a deceptive title, since I cannot find it.
Who we did the initial transcription with Sibelius, we decided to omit words to save time. However, the plan is to add them back when we di the Sibelius editing. So we should keep the dynamics where they are.
OK, that is good. Then it is best to keep the dynamics above the staff. However, I have special conversion instructions in the Humdrum to MEI/verovio converter which will automatically move the dynamics above the staff if there are lyrics on the staff, so even if the location of the dynamics positions are not preserved, they will automatically move above the staff when lyrics are added.
But in any case I need to explicitly place the dynamics for the grand staff, so this will probably also add explicit placement for the single staff dynamics placement.
Minor issue: dynamics appearing on opposite side of stave (above instead of below)
