That is strange. I see them in Chrome on MacOS. What browser and operating system are you using? That could be related. Here is what I see (I also cleaned up the notation):

I use Chrome on Windows 10. I already added the slurs: is what you see the kern I have edited?

Yes, so you are saying that the bottom staff is missing slurs when converting from MusicXML to Humdrum?

Or perhaps the problem is that when an instrument has more than one staff, the slurs on the bottom staff are missing.
