Plugging in the examples from the Canto interface yields:
GO biological process: A biological process is series of events accomplished by one or more ordered assemblies of molecular functions, such as cell cycle, transport, or signal transduction.
phenotype: A phenotype is any observable characteristic or trait of an organism; such as its morphology, development, biochemical or physiological properties, behaviour, and products of behaviour. Examples: multinucleate, abnormal spindle, inviable.
I'd be happy to edit the relevant file in github, but I couldn't tell which was the right one (sorry if that's a symptom that I'm a numpty).
Another nit-picky thing: the phenotype one shouldn't have that semicolon.

Here's the right place: https://github.com/pombase/canto/blob/master/canto.yaml#L1438
Almost all the configuration is in "canto.yaml".
If you can edit it yourself that would be great, but I'm happy to help.
If you make changes let me know and I'll re-release Canto.
Sorry it's taken me nearly 2 years to look at this ticket.

LOL. Thanks for the link. I'm mired in multi-allele slides for Japan today but I can do these edits tomorrow. I'll comment here again when I'm done.
cheers, m

Documentation http://curation.pombase.org/demo/docs/
Here we have
Curating specific data types
You can curate any of these types of data for any gene you have put on the list for the paper (follow links for specific instructions):
We should add examples for process and phenotypes? they haven't got one
