I'm a bit confused.

According to https://www.pombase.org/reference/PMID:27613427 if you delete all 3 histidine kinases you are sensitive to salt stress/osmolarity but not to oxidative stress, but this is supposed to be the oxidative stress response pathway?

we even have mak2 annotated as a peroxide receptor? https://www.pombase.org/gene/SPAC27E2.09

this also contradicts

It's really odd because the GO annotation doesn't seem to correlate with the phenotypes...
