[x] We have previously shown that casein kinase 1 (CK1)-dependent phosphorylation on Rec8-S412 and adjacent sites (S400, S402, S404, S410, T414, and S416) plays an essential role in promoting Rec8 cleavage by separase (Ishiguro et al. 2010).

These results are consistent with a scenario in which Moa1-Plo1-dependent phosphorylation of Rec8-S450 promotes the action of Sgo1-PP2A and thereby antagonizes CK1-dependent phosphorylation of Rec8, a prerequisite for separase-dependent cleavage (Fig. 4B).

obviously has this because cohesion protection is a child
