Csk1-> Cdk9 #3661

Csk1 is a CDK-activating kinase with several physio- logical targets, including the kinases Cdc2, Mcs6, and Cdk9 (Saiz and Fisher 2002; Pei et al. 2006).

I'm missing Cdk9, doing Pei et al next but if this is still missing need to look further.

Still missing the Csk1-> phosphorylates Cdk9 target if you can track this down.....

(I'm making a big effort to get all of these transcription associated protein kinases, and anything which interacts with rpb1 CTD modified forms annotated)

so this is a part of this effort, if you spot any obvious gaps.

Note to myself St. Amour C.V. et al., MCB 2012 (PMID:22508988, already curated): Fig. 1E: Purified Cdk9 was activated by purified Csk1 (and drives Pol. II-CTD phosphorylation). See Pei Y, et al. 2006 (PMID: 16428435).

Pei Y, et al. 2006 (PMID: 16428435, curation submitted) shows the activation of Cdk9 by Csk1.
