G1 to G 0 transition #443

We have 9 genes annotated directly to this, I wonder if any can be moved to positive or negative regulation? or if there is a reason that the regulation terms don't exist at present?

SPAC688.11 end4 I Huntingtin-interacting protein homolog SPAC4F10.15c wsp1 I WASp homolog SPAC823.12 vps11 I HOPs/CORVET complex subunit Vps11 (predicted) SPAC6F6.15 ypt5 I GTPase Ypt5 SPAC23H4.14 vam6 I guanyl-nucleotide exchange factor, HOPS complex subunit Vam6 SPBC409.07c wis1 II MAP kinase kinase Wis1 SPAC10F6.16 mug134 I mRNA stability protein Igo1 (predicted) SPAC24B11.06c sty1 I MAP kinase Sty1 SPBC12C2.13c fnx1 II vacuolar membrane amino acid uptake transporter Fnx1

and for the -ver regulation of G0 to G1 transition (i.e maintenance of quiescence) http://www.pombase.org/spombe/related/GO:0070317

I wonder if some of these should be phenotype only? for example vps11 is annotated to -ver regulation of G0 to G1 transition (i.e maintenance of quiescence) and G1 to G0 transition

Also, these terms seem more like phenotypes? GO:1900527 regulation of nucleus size involved in G1 to G0 transition GO:1900528 regulation of cell shape involved in G1 to G0 transition (I think they come from things like pear shaped during nitrogen starvation)

I think these are all phenotype only based on the evidence in the papers.

Do we know that these process exists? GO:1900527 regulation of nucleus size involved in G1 to G0 transition GO:1900528 regulation of cell shape involved in G1 to G0 transition

might be best to obsolete if we don't know that these events are 'regulated' (nobody else has used them but GO:1900528 has lots of IEAS based on pombe.

I already asked them to obsolete them.

Yep, I spotted it on the tracker! I thought you were quick!
