I think the term FYPO:0000244 loss of viability upon nutrient depletion should have the synonym loss of viability upon nutrient starvation

and possibly also a synonym to loss of viability upon G1 or G2 arrest? In case community curators search on cell cycle arrest terms (consequence of starvation right?).

Should this term also have 'abnormal cellular response to starvation' as a higher level term?

I'm less sure of this, because starvation isn't the only way to arrest the cell cycle (cf. mutants, mating pheromone, maybe others?). Exact synonyms certainly wouldn't do; I could do "broad" or "related" synonyms but am a bit worried that they might be confusing.

Not as an is_a or part_of parent, because the loss of viability phenotypes are observed at the level of a population rather than individual cells. I think can make an includes_cells_with_phenotype link.
