  1. Twin Meiosis This is when meiosis is initiated in a diploid cell before karyogamy, so that both nuclei undergo haploid meiosis. synonym: meiosis before (completion of?) karyogamy child of advanced (premature) meiosis note that this can occur both in h-/h- or h+/h+ diploids, or in zygotes
  2. abnormal nuclear congression during karyogamy
  3. abnormal microtubule cytoskeleton morphology during karyogamy
  4. abnormal sporulation resulting in ascus containing fewer than 4 spores These don't contain any asci with 5+ spores, but contain 1-3 or 2-3 (depending on mutant). I suspect that a mutant that only make 2 spores is different from one that makes 1-3

Some of the names are different because GO defines karyogamy as only the nuclear fusion step; nuclear congression is a synonym for nuclear migration, and is a sibling of karyogamy (a preceding step in the big conjugation process).
