I think, since there doesn't seem to be anything about disassembly in the paper, you could use either abnormal ascospore wall biogenesis or abnormal ascospore wall assembly. Biogenesis might be safer, if you don't know the effect isn't on synthesizing the macromolecules. Let me know if I've missed something, and I can reopen this (and request a GO term if necessary).
