To further investigate this connection, we generated a strain lacking all four Dus enzymes. D was undetectable in that strain (Figure S1B),

@manulera this is a heads up. If you add a logical definition which includes a CHEBI term that has not been used before, you need to add that term to a file (because CHEBI is so large, hmm I wonder what it would be like to run the. reasoner without this practice!).

The instructions are in the docs for the FYPO editing and release procedure PRE- FYPO editing in Protege (to add external ontology terms required for logical definitions)

I thought I had done this one, so it is possible that jus the logical def needs adding. An easy one for logical def as it is the same as the siblings.

I should add this also applies to other ontologies too. All the GO terms I needed so far had already been used previously. You will only encounter this issue if you are adding logical definitions so don't need to worry about it so much, you can just omit the def.
