question about invable spores #783

Is there a relationship between these 2 terms? val

FYPO:0002151 inviable spore FYPO:0000306 abolished spore germination

Hmm. Apparently things I did about two years apart haven't stayed totally consistent, because abolished spore germination has "inviable spore" as an exact synonym :/

For now I've deleted the synonym and added a has_part link.

It might make as much or more sense merge the terms, since I think it'd be pretty hard to detect that a spore is viable other than by seeing it germinate (in theory it could metabolize but not germinate, but would you ever bother to look for that? and if so, how?).
