Those sounds reasonable. We only have 2 TAS annotations to this term to the subunits of the ClpXP complex FBgn0032229 ClpP FBgn0038745 ClpX
Just adding this as a pointer to this review PMID: 34361072
I think that cdc48 might be a different pathway that Lon and might be more better described by mitochondrial quality control rather than mitochondrial protein quality control, as cdc48/VCP seems to act by recruitment to the cytosolic side of the outer membrane and Lon acts in the matrix. Need to look at this a bit. Mitochondrial Surveillance by Cdc48/p97: MAD vs. Membrane Fusion VCP is essential for mitochondrial quality control by PINK1/Parkin and this function is impaired by VCP mutations Have to put this aside for a couple of days and then will get back to it.
Have annotated a few more:
Agree about cdc48. It came in because my query was intersect with mitochondrion but I didn't remember to subtract 'cytoplasmic side' It's not in the list I reported to SGD.
A bit more poking - flies seem to be missing OMA1 (conserved from human - yeast); mgr3 ->Ttc19 not so sure - is involved in CIII assembly. Need to look at m-AAAs
These are annotated now:

Move these down? https://www.pombase.org/results/from/id/3241f766-e918-482a-bebe-3e9752adfa45
I will ask SGD to make these more specific SGD:S000000778 SGD:S000000118 SGD:S000004721 SGD:S000001795 SGD:S000006228 and then ask for the PAINT annotations to be moved down
Update: Suzi moved the SGD ones down, I will ask Marc to update the PAINT after the next GO release
