I have 2 tabs looking at nxt1 and they are displaying different AlphaFold structures?

I think one must be showing the structure of the protein that I was looking at previously?

yep, the top one is https://www.pombase.org/gene/SPAPB1A10.16

Can you reproduce how that happened?

One possible way this could have happened is if you changed gene page and the was a network glitch while the page was loading. It might not update the structure. I'll see if there's anything I can do to make it more robust.

I thought I had saved to show you today, but unfortunately I hadn't. I will look out for it and see if I can reproduce

ValWood commented 1 day ago

I can reproduce, do you want a quick zoom

Basically I started on https://www.pombase.org/gene/SPAPB1A10.16 then searched for nxt1 https://www.pombase.org/gene/SPAPB1A10.03 which loaded correctly. then if I use the "back button" I'm still on the nxt1 page, but the structure has gone back to dcp13 structure

Thanks. I am able to reproduce that now. I'm surprised we haven't noticed before!

I know!

Thanks. I am able to reproduce that now.

I think I've fixed it. Quite a messy problem.

I'm surprised we haven't noticed before!

It was causing the same problem for the protein feature view, which we also hadn't noticed.

I have been wondering for a while why sometime I needed to click on the back button twice. It was the same problem and that's fixed too now (for the morning).
