A2M and A2T files of same song have same size. Is this a bug or not?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load, for example, the module intrcoop.a2m included in the distribution 
under modules/hydra in ver 2.4 (or even ver 2.38)
2. Save module as a2m
3. Save module again but as a2t

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected that saved a2m is bigger in size that saved a2t.
What I see is that both saved files: a2m and a2t are almost same size which is 
almost half the size of the original module under modules/hydra.
Is that the expected result? a2m and a2t files have same size which is almost 
half the size of the original module?
Also, a2m files saved under ver 2.4 do not play via the latest winamp plugin 
ver 1.8.
I really do not know if this a bug that a2m files saved are same size as saved 
a2t files.
But they certainly are not compatible with winamp plugin (Winamp ver 5.3 on the 
Win 95 PC with plugin ver 1.8)
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Ver 2.4.  I am using an old PC running Win95 and DOS 6.2 with SB AWE64 sound 
card.

Please provide any additional information below.

I checked on this further.  It looks like there is new file format with this 
tracker.
And the WinAmp plugin ver 1.8 still does not support this format.
But there is another plugin that plays the new modules fine.
So I suppose this is not a bug :)))
This can be safely closed.
