password with ! #6

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. type a password that contains a ! mark, and it will not work

Are you using the -pw option from the command line?  If so, what is the OS and 
shell?
 In most (if not all) Unix/Linux shells, the ! is a special character and will need
to be escaped or quoted.

straif is correct.  You need to escape the ! with \ or use '' single quotes.
