Assertion failed #80

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I opend the googleEmailUploader
2. I filled in my account data
3. I got this error message "Assertion failed"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The error appeers, and the program freezes

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest version of email uploader, windows XP without SP2

Please provide any additional information below.

I used this on 3 machines...only happens for me with outlook 2007

Same here.  Windows XP SP2.  Outlook 2007.

Same behaviour seen in Windows XP SP3 with Outlook 2007. However I had "Google 
Apps 
Sync for Microsoft Outlook" installed (and one synced account) as well as 
"Google 
Email Uploader". The email uploader worked fine until I used the apps sync to 
add 
another account and set it up to have delegate access to a third account. It 
was 
after this point the "Assertion Failed" dialog was seen when logging in to the 
email 
uploader.

Removing the delegated account and the account with delegated access did not 
rectify 
the situation, however removing all synced accounts did (via Control Panel / 
Admin 
Tools / Mail / Profiles). After all the synced profiles were removed I was able 
to 
log in to the email uploader successfully.

Have Win Xp and Outlook 2003, don't have Control Panel / Admin 
Tools / Mail / Profiles as described above. Tried to uninstall the Google App 
Sync
application and now it's uploading again. One thing at a time, maybe ...
