Error trying to use Java bindings #4

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Build and install libkml with Java bindings
2. Try to run included example Java code

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
KML output expected, instead I get "Unsatisfied Link Error" from the
kmldomJNI methods.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.1.3 on RH Enterprise 4

Please provide any additional information below.
I have installed the latest versions of Expat, cppunit, SWIG and scons.
There is a distinct possibility that I am doing something wrong, but I
didn't know where else to go. Is there a project forum anywhere?

What version of Java? (post the output of "java -version")

What did you use for ../configure --with-java-include-dir?
(post the synopsis of the whole configure line)

Also, best to move on to libkml 0.2.x

I have moved on to 0.2.1, and open a new issue with the Linux build procedure.
