What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Get a development version of NetBeans v7 running
2. git clone nbgit
3. start NB
4. open NB project

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The project should open in NetBeans

Instead a dialog is displayed with this information:

Installation cannot be completed due to timeout of loading Timers
API[org.netbeans.modules.timers/1.5]
 org.netbeans.api.autoupdate.OperationException: timeout of loading Timers
API[org.netbeans.modules.timers/1.5]

What versions of NbGit, NetBeans and Java are you using?

nbgit master:
commit 0052cba9225ea49d6d4e734422cf7f2e8492cf9b
Author: Jonas Fonseca <fonseca@diku.dk>
Date: Fri Oct 24 15:21:43 2008 +0200

Java v1.5.0_16

On what operating system?

MacOS 10.5.6

Please provide any additional information below.

This is also reported as a NetBeans issue here:

http://statistics.netbeans.org/analytics/exception.do?id=150641

because shortly after NB threw a java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException
error.

Which specific build of NetBeans 7 were you using? Are you still encountering
this
problem?

I was unable to reproduce this issue in M1 (build 2008812180001) running on
Ubuntu
8.10 (x64). I do not have a Leopard machine available just at the moment to
test against.
