VCSAnnotate buffer wraps

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. using VCSAnnotate! when :number is set by default

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I see the annotation buffer wrap since the number of columns is calculated 
without counting the numbers

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.99.42 on linux

Please provide any additional information below.

Does this patch work instead?  I'd rather not dictate use of the 'number' 
option.
