I recently installed the facetag extension. It works great and is just what I was looking for to tag people in my gallery.

I do have a suggestion for improvements to include in a future release. Personally, I do not want Guests to be able to tag anything or revise tag names. Currently a Guest can go in and revise a tag on a picture. I do not want strangers going in and either accidentally or on purpose making changes to the tags.

A configuration setting could be added to give permissions to groups or individuals to make additions and/or changes. Guests should still be able to see the facetag boxes

  1. Is it possible to ad 'show the tagged area on the picture' when you hover over a tagged name?
  2. Is it possible to ad 'only registered users can tag'?
