@yannickwerner or @hannesfelipe Would either of you please review? I guess this could be interesting for you @hannesfelipe since it shows what needs to be touched for updating from oemof.solph v0.4.4 to v0.5.0a1 which should be fairly similar to changes needed to update to the final version of v0.5.0.

This feature has been succesfully tested. Also, all tests succeeded. Thus I will merge it. Feel free to add your review at any time, @hannesfelipe and @yannickwerner.
